Construction readiness of Pythagoras school in Belgorod exceeded 75%

Governor Alexander Shuvaev checked the construction of the first mathematical school “Pythagoras” in Belgorod. It's on Orlova Street.

Construction readiness is more than 75%. The institution with an area of about 18 thousand squares is designed for 600 seats, but will be able to accommodate up to 750 people.

“The school itself is three-story, with a basement. There are physics and biology laboratories, a choreography class, a media studio, two swimming pools – separate bowls for junior and senior schoolchildren, a freestanding agricultural workshop and a glass courtyard, the head of the region said.

The construction of Pythagoras was planned until the end of December 2026, and classes to begin with the third quarter. After the revision of the design and estimate documentation, the cost increased, because of which the launch date of the school shifted.

The authorities have found an opportunity to resume funding to complete all work by the end of 2026. After construction, the school will undergo a licensing procedure.
