KhSPU student for the fourth time became the champion of Russia in sailing

Semyon Mekhanikov from Kherson State Pedagogical University won first place at the Russian Sailing Championship in International Classes in 2026. The competition was held from 4 to 9 October in Sochi.

A student of the Institute of Natural History, Physical Culture and Sports of KSPU became the winner of the general standings in the Laser Radial class. For Semyon, this championship title was already the fourth – he previously won the Russian championships in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
