Elista court will consider the case of theft of money from a bank card

A resident of Elista will stand trial for stealing money from a found bank card.

According to investigators, in the afternoon of September 20, the 18-year-old defendant found someone else’s bank card near a public transport stop in the 4th district of Elista.

Without reporting the find to the police, on the same day, the young man used the card to pay for goods in various shops in the city (e-cigarettes and food), as well as to pay for travel on public transport. Thus, the attacker stole money totaling about 15 thousand rubles.

The criminal case was sent to the Elista City Court.
