The court ordered the owners of accounts to return the mother of many children more than 7.7 million rubles

In Gus-Khrystalny, the prosecutor’s office helped the woman recover the money she lost after communicating with Internet scammers. Following the audit, the court decided to recover from the owners of accounts, which received funds, more than 7.7 million rubles.

In September 2024, the woman was looking for additional earnings and responded to an ad on the Internet. Soon she was contacted by an unknown person, offering to register on the brokerage platform and earn on bets related to precious metals. Trusting the interlocutor, the victim under his leadership transferred money to these accounts.

In fact, the incident opened a criminal case on fraud on an especially large scale. During the investigation, it was possible to establish the owners of accounts through which the funds passed. The prosecutor’s office appealed to the Gus-Khrystal City Court with claims for the recovery of unjust enrichment. The court satisfied the requirements of the supervisory authority.
