The city court of St. Petersburg on November 3 will consider the appeal in the case of payments to the widow of a passenger who died in the crash of the An-148. Earlier, the district court ruled that the airline must pay the woman for life. This was reported in the joint press service of the courts.

The tragedy occurred on February 11, 2018. The plane was flying from Moscow to Orsk and crashed. Among the dead was the husband of an appealing woman. She did not work, received an old-age pension and lived on her husband's money. The court found that she was entitled to payments as a dependent.

The Kuibyshevsky district court decided that the company “Saratov Airlines” must pay the woman 73 485 rubles 90 kopecks every month for life. Also, the company recovered a debt of almost 2 million rubles and a state duty of 37,982 rubles.

That decision was appealed. It will be considered on November 3, 2026.
