The court in Dagestan recovered from the owner of the car 761 thousand rubles of unpaid scrap fee

The court considered an administrative case on the claim of the Dagestan customs for the recovery of debts from the owner of the car for the utilization fee and penalties. This was reported by the press service of the courts of the Republic.

As established during the proceedings, the citizen imported into Russia a car of foreign production, issued it for personal use and made a recycling fee using a preferential coefficient.

However, within 12 months from the moment of registration of the customs arrival order, the woman sold the car under the contract of sale, because of which she lost the right to use the specified coefficient.

As a result, the customs authority added the recycling fee and charged penalties. Notices of repayment were sent to the defendant, but were not voluntarily executed.

Botlikhsky district court sided with the customs and recovered from the woman a debt on utilization fee and penalties for a total amount of more than 761 thousand rubles, as well as state duty in the local budget income
