Melitopol court cancels deportation of woman to Georgia

The Melitopol Interdistrict Court overturned the decision to deport a 63-year-old woman. This was reported by the press service of the court.

In July 2025, she was deported to Georgia and banned from entering Russia for 20 years. In September, the ban was lifted due to a change in circumstances, but the deportation decision remained in effect.

The woman learned about the lifting of the ban only in August 2026. She appealed to the court to cancel the deportation. Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB supported her statement.

The court restored the missed deadline and overturned the deportation decision.
