The court sentenced for the acquisition and use of a fake driving license

The Kuedinsky District Court of the Perm Territory sentenced a local resident found guilty under Part 3 of Art. 327 of the Criminal Code. The man was convicted of acquiring, storing for the purpose of using and using a knowingly forged document giving certain rights - in this case a driver's license. This was reported in the press service of the Perm regional court.

The court found that in January 2026, the defendant issued an order for a fake driver’s license from an unidentified person, and then received it through the branch of the “Mail of Russia”. A few months later, the man was stopped by traffic police. When checking documents, he presented a false identity card, but it was not possible to deceive law enforcement officers: traffic police officers timely revealed signs of forgery.

“As a result of the consideration of the case, the court of first instance imposed a fine of 50,000 rubles on the defendant. The verdict has entered into legal force, the Perm regional court commented.
