In the Tambov region collected about 110 thousand tons of potatoes in agricultural organizations. Cleaning was carried out from 3 thousand hectares of fields, which is 94% of the planned area. According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, the pace of potato harvesting this year exceeded last year’s values, which is facilitated by weather conditions.

The leader in potato harvesting was the Staroyurievsky municipal district - about 39 thousand tons. A good harvest is also harvested by farmers of the Tambov municipal district (more than 25 thousand tons) and Michurinsky municipal district (almost 22 thousand tons).
