Horse dancing, family hippotherapy - hundreds of Gomel residents united the holiday "September meetings"

On Sunday, September 13, in Gomel with a full house is a family holiday "September meetings". It was organized by the regional center of the Olympic reserve for applied sports. The large-scale event is dedicated to the upcoming National Unity Day, which is celebrated in the country on September 17.

A grandiose horse show, fencing fights, demonstration performances of pupils of the karate section, interactive platforms of the Emergencies Ministry, the Department of Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, military unit 5525, as well as the opportunity to visit the ancient stable - an architectural monument of the early XX century. All this gathered hundreds of residents of Gomel on the site of the equestrian complex. Moms and dads with children, grandparents with grandchildren, couples and friendly companies – September Meetings have become a magnet for different generations.

The September Meetings coincided with the National Unity Day. Nothing unites us like the power of family ties and traditions. And in combination with active rest, joint sports is a real foundation. At our common holiday, I also wanted to introduce the potential of the sports center, the opportunities that are available to both children and adults.

In this center of the Olympic reserve, several directions are cultivated: equestrian sport, archery, fencing and modern pentathlon. The students of the institution perform well in the world arenas. Now the craftsmanship and beauty of these sports were able to see and Gomel residents. Graceful dances of horses, impressive performances of riders with overcoming obstacles, acquaintance with rare breeds. Undoubted love of the public earned the Russian heavy lift Goodwin and Shetland pony Caramelka, who willingly communicated with children, dutifully substituting their maned necks for hugging. The same warm was the acquaintance with the pets of the Gomel regional branch of the republican club of service dog breeding. The children rushed to them during the demonstration passage, and after – on an interactive platform.

The popularity rating among the guests of the holiday beat the interest in the ancient stable of the early XX century, which after restoration was opened in January 2006. There was a queue of people who wanted to see the sight, which still contains horses. Here you could pet them, feed them, and talk to them heartily. The inhabitants of the stable, like one, reciprocated. After all, the guests did not come with empty hands - with sweet carrots, carefully prepared by the organizers
