The Governor of the Chelyabinsk region Alexei Texler congratulated the South Urals on the Day of the worker of road and urban passenger transport and reminded that the daily output of modern cars on the routes is not only the work of drivers.
“Driving is a responsible and challenging job, requiring high professionalism and constant attention. Other specialists also make a great contribution to the development of the motor transport sector, thanks to which reliable and modern cars – auto mechanics, dispatchers, logisticians – enter the routes every day, the head of the region emphasized.
Texler noted that over the past few years, the region has seriously updated the transport infrastructure – roads, depots, stop complexes. In Chelyabinsk, more than forty kilometers of dedicated lanes for public transport were equipped, almost one and a half thousand units were updated rolling stock. This systematic work of the authorities will continue.
The main condition for the development of the industry, the governor called the influx of young specialists and the preservation of strong teams and professional traditions. He wished employees and veterans of the motor transport sector new success, health, well-being and inexhaustible energy.
