Ecotrope "Lesnaya" along the street Tikotsky this summer turned into a comfortable recreation area. How it was equipped - read the material of the correspondent of the agency "Minsk-Novosti".
Requires updates
The green zone separating residential areas from the Moscow Ring Road has existed since the construction of the Green Meadow. The children collected raspberries there, wised by the experience of their grandmother - pine shoots for healing jam, there was enough space on the local paths and dog owners.
However, over the past half century, the situation has changed. Once young trees grew “to the sky”, “belted” shrub began to interfere with walks. The area was in urgent need of renovation.

Figures and facts
In the summer on the territory of the forest park "Green Meadow" was equipped ecotrope "Forest", passing through an area of about 2.5 hectares. Its "official" beginning is located near the school No. 114. Those who want to walk through the stylized wooden gates, and the journey begins. On the paths with a total length of 1,300 meters, you can immediately walk "from and to", but for lovers of leisurely rest, 40 benches and 6 swings are installed.
By the way, to calculate the length of the traveled path help special signs. They are located along the route for Scandinavian walking, but in practice nothing prevents everyone from walking here.

Rest, study, exercise
Not far from the entrance there is an information stand, which indicates what locations can be seen on the road. There are many.
There are various thematic areas along the trail. For example, a territory for fitness classes, a special platform for outdoor lessons, a playground with tables for chess and checkers, as well as a place for playing petank.
The rope town invites young residents of the nearest quarters to train. And not just them. In the group of teenagers, located on the swing, there are guys from other areas. They came to the Green Meadow to visit friends to walk along the new ecotrope and explore all its attractions.

Two small dogs lead their mistress to the walking area.
- Perhaps there is something to improve taking into account the fact that dogs come in different sizes, but in general this place for walking we like.
There's a bookcrossing area nearby. And a little to the side are heard small voices - this is a space for those who like to relax in nature with barbecues.
On the sunny glade there are sunbeds for taking air baths. We can only regret that the summer is coming to an end and it was not the hottest and sunny.

Along the route are carved sculptures made of wood, creating the atmosphere of a fabulous forest. And metal screens with a plant design make the space more cozy.
Information stands, and there are 11 of them, introduce walkers to the flora and fauna of Belarus, teach the rules of safe behavior.

Half a century behind
Green Meadow is still an old residential area, but quite old. Therefore, mostly elderly people walk along the paths of the forest park. Perhaps with the beginning of the school year, the situation will change, but for now, the older generation enjoy their vacation here.
- Sit down, rest, kindly invites the gray-haired lady sitting on the swing.
As it turns out during the conversation, Lidia Vladimirovna has been living here since the first years of building these neighborhoods, they grew literally before her eyes.

- Inviting friends, I said: come to visit, and you will see that we literally live in the forest! From the balcony of our house, you could look at the village of Lesnoy, which was being built in the same years, watch sports aircraft taking off from the airfield in Borovaya, and watch paratroopers train.
According to the interlocutor, there was a period when it was not often possible to meet a woman with a baby stroller. But today, the situation is changing, and the new ecotrope is another important step towards the Green Meadow gaining a second wind and becoming attractive for young people.
