Participants of the CSTO exercises “Indestructible Brotherhood” and “Barrier-2026” practiced countering hybrid threats. Why it is important, on the air of the program “PRO Army” on the “SBTV” explained military expert Alexander Tishchenko, writes sb.by.
The exercises were attended by contingents from Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. According to the guest of the program, the importance of such events goes beyond combat training:
- First of all, I would like to mention a common security space – the Eurasian one. The second is not just training combat skills or coping. During the exercises, issues related to countering hybrid threats or their localization were worked out. This is what precedes aggression. Information and cognitive aspects, issues related to infrastructure, migration, drug trafficking – all this first rocks the state and prepares it to implement plans of aggression.
Alexander Tishchenko stressed that the experience of deterring hybrid threats reduces the risk of aggression:
- If we learn to counter hybrid threats and gain experience in deterring them, then the chances increase that we will not allow aggression against our states. See the project "PRO ARMY" on Fridays at 12:00 on the YouTube channel "SBTV" and the program is also available on the portal VIDEOBEL.BY.
