Only every second patient in Pomorie regularly comes to the dispensary

“Capital MS”, the Ministry of Health of the region and the territorial MHI Fund signed an agreement on the support of citizens over 65 years of age.

On October 14, at the collegium of the Ministry of Health of the Arkhangelsk region “Capital MS”, the Ministry of Health of the region and the territorial fund of the MHI signed a tripartite agreement. The document fixes the start of a project for individual support of residents of the region aged 65 years and older, especially those who suffer from chronic non-communicable diseases.

According to the statistics of the insurance company, in 2026, more than 6,000 residents of the region who came to the medical examination and considered themselves absolutely healthy, doctors first identified diseases. When confirming a chronic diagnosis, the patient is subject to dispensary registration. However, only every second patient observes regular attendance.

- Our main mission, which we carry out here, is to protect the rights of the insured person, it is the provision of all kinds of assistance, assistance and appointment to the doctor and individual support. Many people need it, especially people with complex and chronic diseases, said Nadezhda Grishina, Director General of Capital MS.

The goal of the project is to increase the motivation of the older generation to take care of their health and increase the effectiveness of dispensary observation. As part of the agreement, representatives of the Arkhangelsk branch of Capital MS will contact insured persons over 65 years of age, remind them of the need to visit a doctor and help register for the necessary examinations.

- Today, we are implementing the national project “Long active life”, fighting against mortality of the population, including residents who suffer from these diseases over sixty-six. And over sixty-five years old, because they're at risk. There are quite a lot of such and such patients, of course, in the Arkhangelsk region, as in general, in principle, throughout the Russian Federation, said Alexey Starchenko, Advisor to the General Director of Capital MS, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Member of the Public Council of Roszdravnadzor.
