The tragedy in Medvezhyegorsk: the circumstances of the death of a 17-year-old teenager became known

Became known details of the death of a minor resident of Medvezhyegorsk, whose body was found on October 12. As it turned out, the young man was reported missing from last weekend.

According to the regional department of the Investigative Committee, the tragedy was preceded by a party: on the night of October 11, a company of six young people drank alcohol. The company had 3.5 liters of vodka. During the feast, one of the participants of the company left in an unknown direction and stopped communicating.

The search for the teenager began only after the parents appealed to law enforcement agencies. Primary operational measures carried out by police on Sunday did not yield results. The body was discovered by a passerby at the mouth of the Kumsa River the next morning. According to preliminary data, there are no traces of violent death on the body, so the main version of death is hypothermia. It is known that in November the deceased was 18 years old.

Currently, a criminal case has been opened on the fact of what happened in the waters of Lake Onega. Investigators have already examined the place of discovery of the body, a forensic examination has been appointed to determine the exact cause of death.
