Transport savings. On transportation to Astrakhan will save 630 million

In the Astrakhan region plan to reduce the cost of transport work by 630 million rubles during 2026-2028. Savings are expected to be achieved by changing the essential terms of state contracts. The regional Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure is responsible for the implementation of the measure.

For 2026, there is a reduction in expenses by 90 million rubles. In 2027 and 2028, the budget effect should be 270 million rubles annually.

To implement this measure, the regional government intends to adopt a separate legal act providing for changing the terms of existing state contracts.

The specific parameters of future changes have not yet been disclosed. It is not specified which routes or carriers may be affected, whether a review of the volume of transport work is planned, and how the savings will affect the organization of passenger transportation.

Budget cuts alone do not automatically change the cost of travel or cancel routes. Such decisions require independent legal registration.

The event is designed for three years. There are no additional savings in this area for 2029 and 2030.

The planned 630 million rubles represent the expected reduction in budget expenditures, not the funds already released. Details will become known after the definition of new terms of transport contracts.
