The World Championship in 3D archery, held from September 28 to October 4 in the American Yankton, became a historic for the Russian team. For the first time in a long time, the team was officially allowed to participate in a full format – under the national flag and with the national anthem. This decision was made on August 14, 2026 by the Executive Committee of the World Archery Federation, removing previously existing restrictions.
The performance of the Russian team was triumphant. The team took third place in the team standings among the strongest teams in the world, winning two gold, one silver and two bronze medals. Twice on American soil the anthem of the Russian Federation was solemnly sounded.
