The SCO countries account for more than 76% of Belarus’ foreign trade. This was stated by Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin at a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the SCO member states, which takes place on October 20 in Tajikistan, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

“The Republic of Belarus is proud that the SCO member states are our key trading partners,” Turchin said.
These results reinforce the conviction of the need to focus on projects that will ensure long-term growth of mutual trade and investment.
Ah. Turchin also noted that the formation of sustainable production chains, including cooperation in industry, including in mechanical engineering, agriculture and the digital economy, is of particular importance.
- Belarus considers each meeting in the SCO format as an opportunity to move from general declarations to concrete agreements, the prime minister said. Our countries have complementary production and technological competencies. And we can fully involve them in joint activities.
