Russia plans to oblige professional tour groups to take GPS transmitters with them during hikes

In Russia, they plan to oblige professional tourist groups to take GPS transmitters with them during hikes. This was told on the air of the TV channel “Crimea 24” by the deputy head of the territorial body, the chief state inspector for small vessels of the GU EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Crimea Alexander Zraenko.
Such devices will allow you to track the movement of people on routes and simplify search operations in the event of an emergency. Zraenko noted that some enterprises already supply prototypes.
According to Zraenko, the innovation is necessary to protect tourists, regardless of whether they go on forest and mountain paths or go on a sea trip.
Recall, the rescuer from Yalta called frequent mistakes of fans of extreme rest. Tourists in Crimea often underestimate the complexity of routes and go on hikes without warning rescuers or loved ones.
