Severely ill patient from Vladimir region deprived of vital medicines

The Goose-Crystal Interdistrict Prosecutor’s Office helped a disabled person who was in an extremely difficult situation: he was deprived of a vital medicine.

a 76-year-old resident of the district, who has a group 1 disability due to cancer, could not get a vital drug for free, although he had the right to do so at the conclusion of an oncoconsilium.

Without waiting for the delivery of the medicine in the pharmacy, the patient was forced to purchase it at his own expense. The purchase cost 190 thousand rubles.

Speaking in defense of the violated rights of a disabled person, the prosecutor appealed to the court with a claim for reimbursement of expenses. The court satisfied the requirements of the supervisory authority in full.

The decision was executed - 190 thousand rubles were transferred to the account of the cancer patient.
