In Belarus, until September 2026, it was possible to register SPMs that develop speeds of more than 25 km / h as mopeds or motorcycles in a simplified manner. Previously, vehicles were provided to test laboratories.

According to V. Rotchenkov, the traffic police has already registered 3,5 thousand such vehicles. They have green plates on them.

It is expected that under the registration in a simplified manner will get about 1.5 thousand units of such equipment, tested by experts earlier. Those who applied for this procedure, who found out that they still have SPM, use them as bicycles. In this case, the only requirement is to be careful when traveling and comply with traffic rules.

It is noted that now at points of sale buyers explain whether the appliances he liked belong to the SPM or it is a moped, and whether his registration, driver's license, insurance are required.
