Thousands of transport workers of St. Petersburg went on a city-wide Saturday

In the Northern capital was a traditional autumn day of improvement. Thousands of employees of the transport complex and business representatives joined the cleaning of the city. This was reported to the Transport Committee.

Seventy specialists of the Transport Committee, headed by acting chairman Alexei Goncharov, put in order the Garden of the Bryantsev Theatre of Young Spectators. The staff of the Transportation Organizer cleared the area adjacent to the offices and traditionally visited the Piskarevskoye Memorial Cemetery.

More than a thousand employees of Passengerravtotrans cleaned up nine sites, including bus parks and lawns. More than two thousand employees of Goralelectrotrans removed garbage from almost 45 hectares of territories, cleaned drains and put in order stops. More than two thousand metro specialists have brought order to the electric depot and stations.

Employees of the Directorate for Road Traffic Management collected 49 bags of foliage on Kristallnaya Street. Employees of the Parking Center put in order the city and intercepting parking lots. Almost two hundred people from the Agency for External Transport removed the bus station, specialized parking lots and helipads of air ambulance.

Kirill Polyakov together with entrepreneurs held a creative Saturday on Vasilievsky Island. Participants landscaped the Linear Park and planted a symbolic “Garden of Creative Industries”. The Vice-Governor stressed that local business helps to develop the urban environment, and representatives of different directions united on one platform.

The city-wide Saturday became not only a concern for cleanliness, but also the contribution of everyone to a comfortable environment. Working together brings people together and helps keep the city well maintained at any time of the year.
