Belarus has great tourism potential in India: a view from Delhi

Belarus is one of the safest countries in the world and has significant tourist potential for Indian citizens. This opinion was expressed by the regional coordinator of India for CIS countries at the Bharat Global Industries Forum, the general director of Alka Sanz LLC, Dr. Dame Nilam Suresh, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

- I have been in Belarus for a long time and can confirm that it is one of the safest countries on the planet. Against the backdrop of what's happening in the world, you're a leader in security, especially for tourists. I wish India knew more about your country. Today, most Indians think that Minsk is part of Russia. But it is a completely different country with a unique people. Belarusian care for the environment, nature, health complexes – this is what you have become an example for all surrounding countries. I think Belarus has great tourism potential in India, the regional coordinator said.

He also stressed that India and Belarus are successfully cooperating in the field of IT and pharmaceuticals.

- Belarusian equipment is successfully working in India. We already have a foundation on which to build further cooperation. This is facilitated by the warm relations between our leaders – Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Alexander Lukashenko. Many initiatives have recently been put forward between countries at international venues. Therefore, our interaction has a great potential, the interlocutor stressed.
