The entrepreneur from Alexin seized nicotine products for 543 thousand

In Alexin stopped the sale of unmarked nicotine-containing products. According to the management of Rospotrebnadzor in the Tula region, in July 2026, specialists of the Alexinsky territorial department conducted a control purchase at the retail outlet of an individual entrepreneur on Tula Street, 136A.

In particular, they checked compliance with the requirements for labeling tobacco, nicotine-containing and alternative products by means of identification.

It turned out that the entrepreneur sold such products without checking the labeling codes in the GIS MT system for prohibitions to sell. In addition, he transferred to the state information system false information about the turnover of labeled goods.

As a result of the purchase, cases were initiated under Article 15.12.1 and Part 4 of Article 15.12 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, 505 units of nicotine-containing products worth 543,300 rubles were withdrawn from circulation. The materials were sent to the court district No. 1 of the Alexinsky judicial district, where the entrepreneur was fined 150 thousand rubles.

Earlier, “MK in Tula” reported that in Efremov, the court sentenced a couple for illegal trafficking in tobacco products. They bought more than 1.6 thousand packs of cigarettes without excise stamps and stored them for sale, the cost of seized products exceeded 200 thousand rubles.
