The Odoevsky Interdistrict Court of the Tula region sentenced 43-year-old resident of the Oktyabrsky village of Leninsky district Yuri Litvinov, finding him guilty under Part 1 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - driving a car in a state of intoxication by a person already subjected to administrative punishment for drunk driving.
According to the prosecutor's office, on August 1, 2026, a man driving a Nissan Terrano became the culprit of an accident in the village of Arsenyevo, the traffic police officers who arrived at the scene established alcohol intoxication and found out that he had previously been deprived of his rights for drunk driving.
Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, the court appointed Litvinov a fine of 230 thousand rubles with deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to transport management for 2 years 6 months.
The car was confiscated to the state.
