Salekhard hosts the all-Russian conference “Pole of education”, organized jointly with Rosmolodezh. Among its participants are 150 specialists from 27 regions of the country: doctors of sciences, teachers of Letovo school, scientists from HSE, Moscow State University, ITMO and Moscow Polytechnic University. On his pages in social networks said the Director of the Department of youth policy of Yamal Nail Khairullin.
Participants of the event will analyze the changes that today affect the growing up of children, and then simulate several scenarios for 2040 – on their basis, they will test how current educational practices take these changes into account.
According to Khairullin, Yamal is guided by the principle of Governor Dmitry Artyukhov: education concerns everyone, it is a question of the common responsibility of adults for how children grow up, what values are assimilated and who helps them in difficult situations.
An example of early independence, according to the director of the department, is the tradition of the indigenous peoples of Yamal: in the tundra, a child in five or six years can independently control a reindeer sled during migration. This principle is also embedded in the education model of the Yamolod School. Nail Khairullin is sure that modern children are ready for serious tasks much earlier than they are usually trusted, including from the age of 12 to try themselves in the first profession.
On October 31, the district forum “Parents.Reset” was held in Salekhard, which gathered about 200 representatives of parent communities and educational organizations of the Urals. The participants focused on topical issues: how modern approaches to education relate to the needs of families, how to support parental initiatives and build productive partnerships between schools and families, as well as how to protect children in the digital environment.
