A section of Mir Street in Vologda will open next week

About the progress of road repairs in the regional capital told live the head of the city Sergey Zhestyannikov. According to him, the work on Mira Street is planned to be completed by the end of October.

1.4 km has already been put in order, including the alley. The odd side is all set. The fair side should be finished by the end of October. The first section from Chekhov Street to Oktyabrskaya will be opened next week, after which work will continue on the stretch from Chekhov to Puteyskaya. The lights will be installed in November. The head of the city assured that Mira Street will definitely be put in order before the end of the year.

Benches and urns have already appeared on the alley, later radius benches and small swings will be installed. Also, two bronze sculptures will be placed here: “Girl in the window” and “Girl-lacemaker”, purchased for a subsidy under the national project “Tourism and Hospitality”. They're going to light them up.
