Teachers of the Rostov region will receive free legal assistance

In the Rostov region expanded measures to support teachers. Now teachers will be able to receive free legal assistance on issues related to their professional activities. The relevant amendments to the regional law were approved by the deputies of the Legislative Assembly.

Chairman of the Don Parliament Alexander Ishchenko noted that the innovation is associated with the implementation of the decree of the President of Russia “On additional measures to support teachers”.

This is not the first initiative of the regional authorities aimed at supporting teachers. Earlier, the regional law on culture was amended to allow teachers to visit the state regional museums for free.

In total, more than 100 thousand people are employed in the educational sphere of the Rostov region, according to open sources. Of these, about 30,000 are teachers. About a third of teachers work in Rostov-on-Don.
