Students of Berdyansk Medical College managed to turn their studies into an exciting competition - they took part in the intellectual game of chemistry "Organic kaleidoscope".
The event went far beyond the usual quiz: it was a long tournament, during which the teams demonstrated the level of preparation in six competitive trials at once. Participants coped with tasks of varying complexity – from reproducing basic definitions to compiling complex structural formulas.
The program of the tournament included a variety of formats: students had to recall the names of outstanding scientists engaged in organic chemistry, to derive isomer formulas, and also to show ingenuity in the task "Set of letters", where it was required from disparate symbols to collect correct chemical terms.
According to the results of the competition, the first place was taken by a team consisting of pharmaceutical students.
The organizers emphasize that such games are not limited to simply repeating the material covered: they help to reveal the dynamic and exciting side of the learning process. Teachers are sure that such formats contribute to the strengthening of interest in the disciplines of the natural-scientific cycle among those who in the future plan to connect their lives with medicine.
