Ulyanovsk kickboxers surprised by the results in Moscow: six athletes met the standard of the CMC

Athletes of the Ulyanovsk region successfully performed at the All-Russian kickboxing competitions, which were held in Moscow from October 14 to 18. Representatives of regional sports clubs have won gold, silver and bronze awards in several disciplines. Six Ulyanovsk kickboxers also fulfilled the standard of a candidate for master of sports.

One of the most effective participants of the competition was the club "Edkar". His students took the first nine places. Gold awards were received by Timofey Trofimov, Alexander Ikonnikov, Dmitry Vasiliev, Alexander Egorov, Victoria Ikonnikova, Nikita Semenov, Dmitry Moskvin and Miron Kurzaev.

At the same time, four representatives of the club - Timofey Trofimov, Alexander Egorov, Victoria Ikonnikova and Nikita Semenov - fulfilled the standard of a candidate for master of sports.

Several victories were recorded by the athletes of the Gulliver club. Valentina Sheyanova became the best in the discipline of “full contact”, and Egor Vaganov and Matvey Gordeev won gold in “light contact”. For Egor and Matvey, the speech also ended with the implementation of the CMC standard.

Two gold medals were won by Kira Artamonov. She won in two disciplines at once – “light contact” and “point fighting”. Another first place in “light contact” was taken by Maxim Sinyavin.

Among the winners was the representative of the club “Profi” Azalia Muradimova, who became the strongest in “full contact”.

It was not without silver awards. Second places were taken by Victoria Berdnikov from the club “Profi” in “light contact”, as well as representatives of “Gulliver” Julia Khovrin in “full contact” and Margarita Frolov in “light contact”. Silver in the treasury of the club “Edkar” added Elena Agapova.

The number of bronze medals was also significant. On the third step of the pedestal rose Artem Igonin in “point fighting” and Polina Fomina in “full contact”. Representatives of the "Combat Gloves" club Andrei Drozdov and Karim Muftakhutdinov became prize-winners in the disciplines of "low-kick" and "light contact", respectively.

Another bronze was won by Amir Muradimov from the club “Profi”, who performed in “full contact”. A similar result was achieved by Artem French, who represented the sports club “Temp”.

The list of prize-winners was supplemented by the pupils of “Gulliver” Gleb Lukin, who took third place in “full contact”, and Daria Zaitseva, who distinguished herself in “light contact”.

Six bronze awards were also received by representatives of the Edkar club: Alexander Shatunov, Artem Narzhenkov, Maxim Gorinov, Mikhail Lagosky, Matvey Maximov and Nikita Levanov.

The All-Russian tournament was dedicated to Honored Coach of Russia M.I. Meltzer. The Ulyanovsk region at the competition was represented by athletes of the clubs “Comrade”, “Combat Gloves”, “Profi”, “Gulliver”, “Edkar” and the sports club “Temp”.

Following the results of five competition days, representatives of the region replenished their sports achievements with new awards and confirmed the high level of training in the all-Russian arena.
