The grain harvest in Tatarstan reached 4 million tons

Tatarstan retains its position as one of the leading producers of agricultural products in Russia. This was stated by Rais of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov at the celebration in honor of the Day of Agricultural Workers, held in Kazan Expo.

This year harvested 4 million tons of grain. It is expected that the gross harvest of 2.5 million tons of sugar beet, 1.2 million tons of potatoes and vegetables, more than 1 million tons of oil seeds. Sufficient fodder has been prepared for the wintering of cattle.

The largest hammer was provided by Tetyushsky, Arsky and Buinsky districts, as well as the agroholdings August-Agro, Agrosila, Ak Bars Holding and Chistopolye.

In animal husbandry, the republic plans to reach 2.5 million tons of milk, produce more than 500 thousand tons of meat and about 2 billion eggs. Leaders in yields remain Kukmor, Atninsky and Baltasinsky districts. The Kaibitsky district (an increase in the number of cows), Laishevsky (70% of eggs) and Tukayevsky (40% of meat) were noted.
