Successful in motherhood, profession and social life of the city: BCJ of the capital honored more than 50 bright Minsk women

Today, on October 16, in the Church-monument of All Saints and in memory of the victims, the salvation of the Fatherland of our servants, who served on the initiative of the Minsk City Organization of the Belarusian Women's Union, women who made a significant contribution to the development of their enterprises and the social movement of the city and took place at the same time as mothers, were honored. The event is dedicated to Mother’s Day and Parental Love Week and therefore has a symbolic name – “Under the cover of parental love”. Details are reported by sb.by correspondent.

Chairman of the Women’s Union of Minsk, Head of the Culture Department of the Minsk City Executive Committee Ekaterina Luchina noted that in the Week of Parental Love it has already become a good tradition to meet with the fair sex, who show an example of happy motherhood and promote the preservation of traditional family values, in the Temple-monument of All Saints. This time, the event invited those who successfully combine motherhood, participation in public life and achieve noticeable results in the profession, which give a significant effect on the development of enterprises and organizations of the capital.

- Today we feel more than 50 women, all of them are members of the Belarusian Women’s Union and this year they have been most actively involved in charity projects aimed at helping large families, children, people with disabilities. Of course, it was very difficult to choose the best ones, because all women are very active. It is noteworthy that among the awardees there are many mothers with many children, who by their example show young people that family and career can be combined, and also engage in social activities. I am especially pleased to award these women, said Ekaterina Lucina.

She said that among the awarded women of different professions — provided metropolitan industrial enterprises, educational and medical institutions, housing and communal services, business community.

- The Minsk City Organization of the BCJ has a cell of women entrepreneurs who, among other things, organize a large number of events and sponsor our projects. And among them there are mothers who bring up three or more children, Ekaterina Luchina drew the attention.

She made a special emphasis on the fact that today the representatives of the district organizations of the BCJ are also honored, who successfully combine responsible positions and public life, organize unique events on the female line in their districts.

The head of the BCJ of the capital emphasized that this event is one of a series of events held by activists of the organization in the city dedicated to the Week of Parental Love. Among others, creative competitions, and numerous events to congratulate mothers. Particular attention is paid to children left without parental care.

- Every woman is a unique universe full of love, joy and maternal tenderness. And the most amazing thing is that such women do not live in fairy tales, but in our native Belarus. The ideal for a Belarusian woman is always the Virgin. We ask her to teach us patience, to soften our hearts, to help us in motherhood, to thank our parents, husbands and children. Today’s awards are a sign of society’s recognition of your work and your contribution to the well-being of the country.

Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Organization of the BCJ, Chairman of the Partizan District Organization of the Women’s Movement, Head of the Social Protection Department of the Administration of the Partizan District of the City of Minsk Svetlana Petrova addressed the audience:

- Thank you for taking the time to take an active part in the life of our community organization.

Among the women awarded were workers of the industry of the capital. To support them came the Chairman of the United organization of the BCJ system of the Ministry of industry, Deputy General Director of JSC “INTEGRAL” for personnel and ideological work Olga Soldatenko.

- Today, for the first time, we are participating in such a unique event of the Minsk City Organization of the Belarusian Women’s Union. It highlights the importance of the role of mother, who is now at the forefront. Therefore, among the awarded women of industry are some of the best mothers with many children at MTZ, Atlanta and Integrale, who actively participate in our events. They show by their example that women of heavy industry can be gentle mothers, masterfully manage production processes, willingly help others. For example, there are more than 760 women in the Integral primary, but the personal initiative of the trade house trader Anna Kuzhel is very noticeable, so her candidacy was offered for awarding, believing that she deserves to be celebrated in such a festive week, Olga Soldatenko shared details.

During the festive event, filled with concert numbers, the participants were presented with flowers and memorable gifts. Among the awardees are the director of Pimen Panchenko Secondary School No. 199 in Minsk, the chairman of the Frunze District Organization of the BCJ Galina Filipenok.

- To receive such an award on these holidays from the Belarusian Union of Women is very, very honorable. I think this highlights my achievements, not only mine, but also the women of the Frunze district – and there are more than 7,000 of them who are close to me. Without our support, we wouldn’t have had so many great projects. In Frunze district very creative, bright women who are always ready to come to the aid of those who need it, – said the interlocutor.

- He created a wonderful family, my grandson Vanechka turned six months old. I love them immensely, and I call my daughter-in-law Yulechka my daughter, says Galina Filipenok proudly.
