Is it time to change clothes to work? This question was answered by the lawyer of the Minsk Regional Bar Association Maria Zagudaeva on the air of the ONT TV channel, writes sb.by.

According to Maria Zagudaeva, in accordance with Article 110 of the Labor Code, a worker is considered to be the time when an employee is at his or her workplace and performs work duties. As for the preparation for the work, the lawyer stressed:
- The time of changing clothes before and after work, passing through the turnstile, the path from the pass is not included in working hours. So if your workday starts at 8:00, you should be at your workplace at that time and ready to get to work, rather than changing or tying your shoelaces.
However, Maria Zagudaeva added:
- Working hours include time for familiarization with documents, obtaining inventory, any instructions. Also this includes the time of delivery of finished products, preparation and cleaning of the workplace. In addition, the employer can improve the position of the employee and include changing clothes in working hours. But this should be spelled out in a collective agreement, internal labor rules, an employment contract or a contract.
