In Irkutsk, work is completed to update the pedestrian promenade in the 130th quarter - from the monument to Babru to the "Circle of desires", as well as on the square with an art object in the form of a hatch. The process is carried out under the strict supervision of specialists of MKU "Urban Environment". This is reported by the city administration.
The total area of the renewed site is 790 square meters. During the repair, the workers completely dismantled the old tile covering, replaced the concrete base, made a sand pour and laid a new coating using almost 22 thousand tiles. In addition, in the area of the “Circle of desires”, specialists shifted and further strengthened the existing paving stones.
To date, the contractor has reached the finish line: the laying of the final tiles and the parallel replacement of drainage trays are being completed. The facility will soon be ready for delivery.
In addition to road works, this year the territory near the monument to Babru was additionally landscaped - 10 new benches and 10 urns were installed there.
