106 elevators are being changed in 28 Cheboksary houses

In 2026, 106 elevators in 28 apartment buildings are planned to be replaced, repaired and upgraded in Cheboksary. Work is currently underway at 80 sites.

On Boulevard Mittova, 6 fully completed installation of new equipment in the third and fourth entrances. Now specialists are conducting commissioning work. Next, it is necessary to install the frames of the door portals and perform the finishing of the cabins.

In the house number 3 square 1 on Engels street, new door portals and metal frames of mines were installed. The workers began to assemble and install the winch - the main lifting mechanism of the elevator. After the mechanical installation is completed, commissioning will begin.

On Youth Boulevard, 21 equipment upgrades have reached the final stage. The main construction and installation works are completed, specialists check the work of the elevator. Then the contractor will finish the common areas. After that, the equipment will undergo a final inspection of Rostekhnadzor and will be transferred to the management company.

Head of Cheboksar Stanislav Trofimov thanked the residents for their patience and understanding of temporary inconveniences. “It is important that the new equipment was installed qualitatively and safely served for many years,” he stressed.
