The first Women’s Forum was held in Alchevsk

The first Women’s Forum was held in Alchevsk, bringing together active and initiative representatives of different professions and generations. The event was held on the Day of Business Women of Russia.

“Our city hosted the first Forum of Women of Alchevsk, which brought together active, enterprising and caring representatives of various professions and generations,” said the head of the city district Svetlana Grebenkova.

The forum became a platform for summing up the first results of the work of the Alchevsky local branch of the Union of Women of Russia, exchanging experience and discussing new initiatives.

The event began with the work of thematic exhibition and creative venues. Each in its own way revealed the talent, skill and creative power of countrymen.

The exposition of the volunteer project “Golden Hands of the Angel” attracted special attention. The participants presented self-made protective equipment and other necessary things for the fighters. Behind each product - hard work, care and desire to help the defenders of the Fatherland.

Children's art school held a master class "Autumn of wool" on the technique of wool painting. The costume shop of the Center for Culture showed the color of the Cossack costume. Beauty specialists held a master class for schoolgirls on facial skin care.

The participants also got acquainted with the work of fellow artist Danil Bagrintsev. The exposition “Alley of Angels” dedicated to the memory of Donbas children who died from Ukrainian aggression continued.

The solemn part summed up the activities of the branch of the Union of Women of Russia since the first meeting in February of this year. Activists have taken many initiatives in recent months. They help the front, support the families of SVO participants, veterans and older people, participate in charity events.

“Over the past months, many good and necessary initiatives have been implemented,” Svetlana Grebenkova noted.

A special place in the work is occupied by the Club of Mothers of Warriors SVO "Svoi". It became a space of mutual understanding, communication and support for women who raised sons-Heroes. Another area is taking care of children who need special attention. About the work of the Alchevsk center for social rehabilitation of disabled children "Revival" told its head Lyudmila Vladimirovna Malysheva.

“For more than 15 years, the institution has been helping children in rehabilitation, social adaptation, the development of creative abilities,” she said.

Within the framework of the forum, representatives of women's associations and public organizations of Alchevsk shared the results of their work, told about the implemented plans and successful practices.

“A pleasant moment of the event was the ceremony of awarding women who, with their work, initiative and active public position, make a significant contribution to the life of Alchevsk,” stressed Svetlana Grebenkova.

The head of the district thanked the Chairman of the Luhansk regional branch of the Union of women of Russia Valentina Kiyashko for support, attention to women's initiatives and assistance in the development of the movement in Alchevsk.

“It is especially important for us to be part of a large women’s community, learn from successful experience, strengthen interaction with the regional office and jointly implement projects aimed at helping people,” said Svetlana Grebenkova.

Special attention was paid to the further development of the women’s movement in Alchevsk. They identified priority tasks and identified key areas of work.
