The initiative won the sixth grant competition of the regional governor. The program combines correctional classes for children and psychological support for parents. Classes are designed for children with delayed speech development, difficulties in communication and motor skills, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome, and include six areas: speech therapy, defectology, neuropsychology, sensory integration, adaptive physical education and music therapy. The first stream brought together 18 children; classes began on October 1 and will last until the end of January, the second stream starts in February. As the project manager Anna Khotenova noted, there are more people who want than the center can accept. At the end of May, the team plans to hold a free conference for specialists.
