In the Astrakhan region, money for grain will be directed to livestock insurance

In the Astrakhan region will redistribute more than 222 thousand rubles, previously provided for the support of producers of grain crops. The funds will be used to subsidize agricultural insurance in livestock.

On insurance of farm animals will allocate 222 266 rubles 67 kopecks. The same amount will reduce budget allocations intended for reimbursement of grain producers of part of the costs of their production and sale.

The redistributed funds will be used to compensate for part of the costs of livestock farms to pay insurance premiums. We are talking about agricultural insurance contracts concluded in respect of livestock.

Both areas of funding are included in the regional project “Development of the agro-industrial complex of the Astrakhan region”, which is implemented within the framework of the state program for the development of agriculture, food and fish industry of the region.

At the same time, the total budget allocations will not change as a result of redistribution. The decision does not provide for additional expenses of the regional treasury: funds are transferred from one direction of support for farmers to another.

The Ministry of Finance of the Astrakhan region was instructed to make appropriate changes to the budget for 2026 and the planning period of 2027-2028.

The decision shall enter into force on the date of official publication.
