In the Krasnoyarsk municipal district of the Astrakhan region, a quarantine for animal rabies was established

In the Krasnoyarsk municipal district of the Astrakhan region, a quarantine for animal rabies was established. Restrictive measures are designed for 60 calendar days.
The epizootic focus is recognized as the territory of one of the personal subsidiary farms of the Krasnoyarsk district. A disadvantaged zone with a radius of 500 meters from the borders of the hearth is defined around it. Veterinary restrictions will apply in these areas.
Within the infected area, it is forbidden to treat sick animals susceptible to rabies, move them between places of detention and regroup. It is also impossible to skin dead animals and hunt susceptible species, except in cases of regulating the number of hunting resources.
Visiting the territory of the hearth by outsiders is prohibited. An exception is made for veterinary specialists, employees involved in the elimination of the focus, as well as people living or temporarily staying in this territory.
The import and export of susceptible animals is also limited. It is allowed to export animals vaccinated against rabies within the previous 179 calendar days, including for slaughter in specialized enterprises.
Within the 500-meter disadvantaged zone, it is prohibited to hold fairs, exhibitions, auctions and other events involving the accumulation or movement of susceptible animals.
Export of animals from this zone is allowed only under the established exceptions. In particular, we are talking about sending to specialized slaughter enterprises or animals that have been vaccinated against rabies within the prescribed period.
Restrictions come into force from the date of official publication of the resolution and will be valid for 60 calendar days.
