In the Astrakhan region plan to close the branch of the technical school

In the Astrakhan region for 2027, it is planned to liquidate the Ikryaninsky branch of the Astrakhan Technological College. This decision is included in the package of measures to reduce budget expenditures. The expected savings are 15.26 million rubles.

The Ministry of Education and Science of the region is responsible for the implementation of the event. At the same time, the terms of the actual termination of the branch, the number of students and the procedure for continuing their education are not yet specified.

The changes will not only affect the structure of professional educational institutions. In 2026-2027, the authorities also intend to reduce the cost of maintaining dormitories of secondary vocational education organizations.

The main mechanism of saving in this case is associated with the resettlement of students. For two years, they expect to save 12.37 million rubles, of which about 10.19 million fall on 2027.

What kind of dormitories will be affected and where the students living in them will be relocated, is not reported.

Another change concerns the financing of centralized accounting offices serving municipal educational organizations.

In 2027, it is planned to suspend the provision of regional subsidies to municipalities for co-financing the remuneration of employees of such accounting offices. Estimated savings of the regional budget is 51.43 million rubles.

In addition, it is planned to transfer certain non-core powers in the field of education to the municipal level. Due to this, regional expenses are expected to be reduced by another 11.67 million rubles.

Thus, the changes cover several areas at once: the organizational structure of technical schools, the maintenance of student dormitories, the work of accounting services and the distribution of powers between regional and local authorities.

At the same time, specific decisions related to the further training of students of the Ikryaninsky branch and the conditions for their placement have not yet been disclosed.
