A new section of Avito Neighbours appeared on the platform, which allows you to find professionals with high ratings from residents of the district who are tested by neighbors. Testing functionality is possible for 5 million users from different regions of Russia. This was told at the conference for representatives of the repair and construction industries “Everything for building a business”.

The company explained that the principle of “neighborhood” is determined based on the address specified in the profile. The new format is designed to simplify the search for specialists in situations where people usually seek advice in home chats or friends.

According to the research platform, more than 40% of respondents consider residents of their area neighbors. Six out of ten respondents said it was important to maintain good relationships and be able to seek advice. And every fifth user, when choosing a master, asks for recommendations from residents of their home or district.

The company noted another direction of the new space - announcements about things that are no longer needed by some residents, but can be useful to others.

“This is the next step in the development of social mechanics that bring people together to order services and exchange goods,” said Alexander Kuroptev, senior director of the Avito Services vertical.

It is reported that at the testing stage through the service you can find masters for repair and maintenance of household appliances and computers, tutors, trainers, auto instructors and other specialists.
