In Barnaul completed the construction of a new reception department of the BSMP No. 2

The head of the region announced the completion of the construction of the reception department of the BSMP No. 2 on October 21 in his social networks. Tomenko said that now experts are starting to install equipment and assemble medical furniture. The Governor noted that the new building will unite four reception offices of the BSMP No. 2, which were located in different buildings. This has previously caused logistical difficulties.

I keep this project under personal control and have been on the site more than once. I remember how in February we were just planning the start of work, and in August most of it was completed.

According to Viktor Tomenko, the new department with an area of about one and a half thousand square meters will help patients faster and more efficiently. It can accommodate up to 200 people per day. Doctors have been trained in Moscow, and now pay great attention to teamwork – this is important for the safety of patients, especially in stressful and critical situations.

The construction and equipping of the new reception department cost 600 million rubles. Viktor Tomenko stressed that most of this amount – 525 million rubles – was sent from the federal budget under the national project “Long and active life”. The Governor noted that this is a serious investment in the health and safety of residents of the Altai Territory.
