In Meleuse, law enforcement officers opened a criminal case on fraud on an especially large scale when spending budget funds.

In September 2023, an unidentified person on behalf of the company within the framework of the national project “Tourism and hospitality industry” sent an application to the Ministry of entrepreneurship and tourism for the allocation of funds for the creation of a beach complex on the territory of the Nugush reservoir.

The organization received more than 10 million rubles, but so far the work has not been completed, and the funds have disappeared. The police opened a criminal case, the prosecutor’s office monitors the investigation.
