T. Astreyko stressed that sociological research on topical issues of social and economic development of Belarus reflects the healthy family values of the Belarusian people.

- This is a healthy choice, the right one, absolutely self-preserving. So glad that we have such an opinion in society, she added.

According to her, large families in the country have been elevated to the rank of national priority and national value. The state makes great efforts to increase the population: these are benefits, assistance in housing construction, labor guarantees and infrastructure development.

According to Astreiko, the new generation of Belarusians is more pragmatic and rational

- Therefore, today, among other things, approaches to the provision of state support are being reviewed and issues are being worked out on how to bring benefits closer to the salary of a parent before going on maternity leave.
