The new service is designed to simplify the interaction of citizens with state bodies and organizations. Instead of carrying paper documents and certificates, the user will be able to open the mobile application and present the necessary information in digital form.
- The human value here is simple. It eliminates a situation where a document can be lost or forgotten at home. For business and the state, this is also a convenience: employees will be able to receive verified information without manual rewriting, which means that the likelihood of errors and service time will be reduced, Voronov explained.
The application is planned to be made available for Android and iOS devices. To start work, the user will need to pass identification using the Interbank Identification System or the Unified System for Identification of Individuals and Legal Entities.
After that, biometric verification of the user's image, reconciliation with the photo from the state population register and linking the phone number are provided. This procedure must confirm the identity of the person before providing access to digital documents.
Information can be provided using a QR code. In one case, it can be considered an organization that accepts digital documents. In another case, the citizen will scan the code at the service point, confirm consent to the transfer of certain information, after which they will be sent to the integrated information system. Developers pay special attention to security.
QR codes do not contain personal data. It is actually a key that allows two information systems to exchange information. At the same time, the data is transmitted in digital format and checked on our side, the representative of the National Center for Electronic Services said.
