In Belarus suspended the license of a real estate organization for the provision of services by a freelance person

On September 11, the Ministry of Justice decided to suspend the license for real estate activities provided by Rieltex LLC. This is reported with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Justice, writes sb.by.

The reason was the violations revealed during the consideration of the consumer’s appeal: realtor services were provided by a person who is not in the staff of the organization instead of a realtor.

The license of Rieltex LLC was suspended from September 15, 2026 until November 15, 2026. During this period, the organization has no right to carry out real estate activities. Consumers for termination of existing contracts concluded with Rieltex LLC should contact the named organization

Reaction measures were also taken to the head of Rieltex LLC and the realtor responsible for the execution of the contract for the provision of realtor services concluded with the consumer, whose formal attitude to the performance of their duties led to the suspension of the activities of the legal entity.

The Ministry of Justice reminds that the realtor, being responsible for the execution of the contract for the provision of realtor services, must work with the consumer, providing qualified legal support at all stages of the contract execution.

The Ministry of Justice stressed that the facts of rendering real estate services by unauthorized persons should be excluded from the practice of real estate organizations.
