The document provides for the settlement of certain issues of electronic passports for vehicles (chassis of vehicles), self-propelled vehicles and other types of equipment manufactured and imported into the territory of Belarus.
In addition, the regulation on registration of electronic passports for imported equipment by individuals and legal entities, individual entrepreneurs before its state registration or alienation to third parties was specified.
It will also be possible to issue electronic passports on the applications of those who did not independently import vehicles from the territory of foreign countries, that is, purchased equipment already in Belarus. This will allow you to register cars purchased during the period when electronic passports were not required for state registration.
For cross-border exchange of passports RUE "BELTAMOZHSERVICE" will be able to enter information from the certificates of safety of the vehicle design.
In order to optimize the administrative procedures for issuing electronic passports, the decree provides that the validity of an extract from an electronic passport is not limited to a period of time.
