About the Polish regime in Western Belarus, the reasons for the establishment of the holiday - the Day of National Unity and its impact on the future of the country told Gennady Ivanchin, Director of the Brest regional Lyceum named after P. - They were on opposite sides of the barricades. And they said to me, If you are not united in your country, forces will immediately fly from different sides that will pour oil into the fire. And it will end in sadness. It is. Why was our country divided then? Because other powerful people came, the people did not ask and took the land.

The speaker added:

- By the decision of the President of Belarus, a new holiday was established. It is necessary that only we make decisions on our own land. In protecting the interests of our homeland, we must be united, this is very important. We are doing a lot for this, especially in recent years. We'll keep going.
