In the Bessonovsky district opened an updated school library
School library in Bessonovsky district of Penza region received the first visitors after repair and re-equipment

The school library in the Bessonovsky district of the Penza region received the first visitors after repair and re-equipment. The opening ceremony was built around the literary plot: the participants of the holiday – students, teachers and guests – moved along the route from fabulous images to more adults, passing the stages of “steps of wisdom”. At each point of the route, the characters of the books were waiting for them. Malvina turned to the theme of perseverance, Ivan-Tsarevich and Vasilisa the Wise – to kindness and patience, Assol – to faith in a dream, Pierre Bezukhov and Natasha Rostova – to the idea that a person finds happiness in himself. From each hero, participants received a card with a quote from the classic. From these cards, the Book of Wisdom was collected at the end – it will remain in the library fund as a permanent exhibit.
Director Zhanna Anatolievna Kindayeva spoke about the importance of the library for the school: she thanked the project participants for their support and called the library the heart of the school. Deputy head of the Bessonovsky district administration Lyubov Gennadyevna Ivanova in her congratulations focused on the role of reading in the development of children. The head of the district department of education Yevgeny Alekseevich Guskov wished schoolchildren to read more, not to avoid difficult questions and achieve their goals.
The contribution to the equipment of the library was told by the deputy head of the Penza regional branch of the Union of Machine Builders of Russia Dmitry Budnikov. The video message was sent by Alexei Valerievich Baryshensky. Educator-librarian Ekaterina Litvinova presented the project “School library: yesterday, today, tomorrow”, in which she showed how the premises and the fund changed.
After the presentation of the symbolic key to the librarian, the guests walked through the reading room and the book depository and replenished the fund with new publications. For schoolchildren held a master class on Slavic writing and writing letters. Special mention was made of those who participated in the renovation and equipping, including the 1996 graduates who supported the creation of the new space.
