In the library Elista opened a new children's center

The Amur-Sanan National Library opened the first children’s cultural and educational center “Culture of Childhood” in the republic.

The former sector of children’s reading of the library was completely modernized with the funds of the subsidy: overhauled the interior, purchased new books, modern computer equipment, a 3D printer and graphic tablets.

Specialists paid special attention to the preservation and popularization of the national color of the republic, this was reflected in the names of the functional zones of the center: "Erdm" (art) is designed for art exhibitions, "Tosvr" (meeting) functions as a coworking space with the possibility of organizing musical events, "Degtr" (book) is created for a comfortable stay of younger schoolchildren, "Medrl" (knowledge) is equipped for 3D modeling classes, "San" (thought) is designed for studying local history literature and conducting lectures.

The staff of the national library received specialized training in the Russian State Children's Library.
